Importance of Feeling Good

Author: Robert Musgrave

What is the importance of feeling good? Have you ever noticed that things just go so well when you are feeling good? This phenomenon is often described in various other ways such as being 'in the flow'. Everything just seems to go right. Nothing gets in the way and your pathway is smooth and enjoyable.

Feelings or emotions are a product of our thoughts on a myriad of subjects: the whole life experience to be precise. Situations will have been encountered since birth which have evoked both 'good' (positive) and 'bad' (negative) reactions. We all have judged a situation or event based on our previous experience and knowledge. That judgement is a product of our thoughts both conscious and unconscious.

It is commonly believed that subconscious thought forms at least 90% of our total thoughts and it has been estimated that the average person has around 60,000 thoughts a day! So, subconscious thinking provides a very large part of life experience.

Subconscious thinking in turn is based on our belief structures, that information which we have accepted without reservation as being correct or in some way the truth. Few of us critically examine our thoughts before we accept them. Moreover, we are continually subject to large amounts of information from a variety of sources, particularly popular media such as TV, newspapers, film industry and of course the Internet. It becomes increasing more difficult to assess and validate information, we are all subject to information overload to some extent and that trend is likely to continue.

Emotional response is triggered by the process of thinking so it should not be difficult to enter into a zone where our thoughts can be guided to produce the best possible feelings on any issue. And that is the whole secret to living a joyous and abundant life. Being in control of thinking is one if not the most important gifts we can give to ourselves. To be totally in control of our minds must be the greatest aspiration of any individual. Most of us unfortunately, do not take the trouble to discipline our minds and so we have confusion between rider and the horse.

The whole of personal life experience is considered to be a reflection of our state of being at the deepest level. So what is taking place in any life is a precise reflection of that state. If you feel abundant you are abundant, if you feel bad you probably are not having one of your greatest days. It is the correlation between feeling and external experience which is essential to grasp. The next step is to consciously guide your thoughts for the best feeling and therefore the best possible outcome.

A greater in depth enquiry can be encountered at www.thesecret.tv Readers are urged to watch the film and take full advantage of the materials offered especially "The Master Key System" by C.F. Haanel. It is said that Bill gates once read this book the rest is history.

"If you think you can do a thing or think you can't do a thing, you're right." Henry Ford
