When I got home from work this evening, the house wasn't nearly as cool as I'm used to. After messing with our thermostat, I turned my head up at our HVAC air filter. Then it occured to me: I haven't switched out the air filter in a year! We rented out our house last year and have now been back for six months. The same exact filter has been in the whole time. I quickly took a trip to a local home improvement store to pick up some filters. I then found out I should be replacing it every one to three months.
All this thinking about air quality got me thinking about the subject. My family has been inhaling all that junk. It makes me shutter just thinking about it. Now that we've got our filtration system working right, it is time to begin looking at some air purifiers.
